Authentic Mexican food truck · Rogersville, Tennessee

The True Taste
of Mexico,
Handmade for You

Tamales made from Olaya's grandmother's recipe, birria that falls apart on the fork, street tacos, burritos, and chips & salsa — cooked fresh in the truck and served right here in Hawkins County.

Tamales go fast. We post the day's stop on Facebook each morning — food is usually ready by 10:30–11:00 AM.

Our story

A Recipe from
Home, Two Thousand
Miles Away

Olaya Magallanes McCracken was born in Mexico and spent years in Texas before she and her husband Jason found Rogersville almost by accident — they got lost driving through in 2020, liked what they saw, and ended up buying 83 acres out in the Beech Creek area.

Then the pandemic hit, and she couldn't get home to her family. Jason suggested she cook the food she missed. So she picked up the phone, called her grandmother, and wrote down the tamale recipe. She made a batch, shared them with friends, and the friends told her she ought to be selling them.

She has since sold as many as 52 dozen tamales in a single weekend. What began in a home kitchen is now a full food truck rolling all over Hawkins County — still her grandmother's recipe, still made by hand.
